Even the most ardent ELP fan could qualify the role of The Nice as the progenitors of the first wave of British prog rock hands that collectively peaked in the early 70s and was on the whole, in serious decline by 1975.
As such, The Nice should be revered for their courage and ingenuity at a time when many sought commercial reward alone.

Artistic merit aside. The Nice live on NRK's Tilmra TV show, Club 7. Kongen, Oslo on October 7th 1969 is a thrilling rump of unadalterated prog rock hedonism. However, authenticity like this comes at a price and The Nice would be no more within a few weeks, about eight to be exact!
